This Blog is An Archive And Has Not Been Updated Since 2018

9.27.2021: Google very recently changed drive links for security reasons, so you may find that when you click on a link for one of my printables that you need to submit a share request. PLEASE only submit one share request per item! These have to be manually confirmed and I will get to them when I get to them. I promise you that sending me 12 requests in rapid succession will not make that happen faster, lol! I do not sit on my computer waiting around to send people instant shares of freebies. Thank you so much for your patience as I try to sort out this latest Google mess.

Homeschooling Hearts & Minds is 5 years old today…

And it snuck up on me.  I was thinking maybe I should do something special, but maybe not.  Giveaways are so much work and so much hype and all.

So, I thought I would just share some things from that first year.  So much has changed and yet hasn’t.

5 years ago today I posted my first blog post on a book called Outstanding in the Field.  Yep, I was already writing reviews.

And I already rambled, the first time it was about finding a “golden mean.”

David was already a ham.

Mary was already highly photogenic.

Peter was already awesome.

Emma hadn’t been born yet.

All the kids were amazingly cute.

Things were simpler then (though I didn’t know it at the time).

Here’s to another great year!

  1. Gosh, you are not a newbie anymore! Your kids are so lucky that you blogged when they were young which means they have memories to look back on. I'm so thankful for the way you inspire me!

Thank you for joining the conversation!
