My report after the first week of the Fitness Kick-Off Team!
Definitely a lackluster week, sigh.
I’ve been plagued with a minor physical affliction this week that has curbed my physical activity. Ahem. No details, please. Let’s just say it’s been a painful week and it’s been impossible to get comfortable. This is something that unexpectedly plagues me from time to time, but it’s not a major concern, so don’t worry. It just keeps me from being able to do a lot of the activities I want to do.
I totally flubbed the less computer time thing. Because the desk chair is the most comfortable chair in the house and there’s nothing I hate more than sitting and doing nothing. Even when you’re in pain, you need to occupy your brain somehow and much as I would have preferred to gather all the children around me to listen to a book or something…the ick weather and Mama’s frowny face seemed to bring out all their prickles.
But, don’t worry, I consider this a minor setback. I did get some walking in on Thursday, plus I did several loads of laundry which involves going up and down 2 flights of stairs. My water intake is better, my caffeine is slowly decreasing. Baby steps will get me there. Next week will be better.
Remember: Just because you don’t get everything done on your list doesn’t mean you should give up.
Let’s take a look at this week’s accomplishments:
- Monday:
- Tea and coffee 3 cups
- Water 7 glasses
- Tuesday
- Tea and coffee 3 cups
- Water 7 glasses
- Wednesday
- Tea and coffee 2 cups
- Water 6 glasses
- Thursday

- Friday (so far)
