2011 Ultimate Blog Party

Thank you to Janice and Susan at 5 Minutes for Mom for hosting this annual event.  It’s a great way to meet some great bloggers, and even have a chance at some great prizes.

And welcome to anyone visiting from the blog party, thank you for coming.  It’s good to see you!

Homeschooling Hearts & Minds started as a personal journal and a way to keep our (at the time) far-flung family up-to-date on kid-happenings.

Things have changed a bit since 2008.  We are not geographically distant from our loved ones, so my focus has changed.  I’m more about interacting with my fellow homeschoolers, including sharing tips and free resources I find on the web.  I’ve added some reviews (of mostly homeschool curricula).

But I think you’ll find that my primary focus is sharing some of our real-life struggles as a homeschooling family with 4 kiddos, ages 2 on up to 11, including one child with some unusual special needs.
