Free Printable Notebook Timeline for the Middle Ages!

If you liked the free Ancient World Timeline I posted a while back, I’ve got a special New Year’s gift for you:  a free printable notebook timeline for your medieval studies!

Free Printable Middle Ages Timeline for Notebooking @ Homeschooling Hearts & Minds

Like the Ancient World Timeline, this one comes in three different versions and is designed to be printed in a landscape orientation.  It goes from AD 500 to AD 1500 and can be used as a standalone timeline.

The time increments are different from the previous timeline, because as we get closer and closer to modern times, you are likely to have more and more information you want to record.  Each page covers 100 years.  The font is more “medieval” looking.

While the timeline is perfect for a notebook, it can also be used on a wall or as a shared timeline.

When assembled, it folds up accordion-style, just like the Ancient World Timeline.

Print and assemble your timeline. It will accordion fold to fit neatly into a binder or notebook. Free Ancient World and Middle Ages timelines available at Homeschooling Hearts & Minds!

For complete instructions on how to assemble the timeline, please visit my Ancient World Timeline post here:

For those who would like to add the Timeline of the Middle Ages it onto your Ancient World Timeline, I’ve included an extra file with a replacement 1st page (there’s a total of 3 pages in the this file, one page for each version).  The only difference about this page is that it doesn’t have the “AD 500” at the beginning of the line, so you can add it where your old timeline leaves off at 500.
