Yes, My Tree is Plastic…

…and not at all the stuff that great Pins are made of.

017Yes, that’s G.K. Chesterton weighing down a branch.

019And yes, there’s are fanged creatures next to the smiling plush critters.

021One side is extra fancy, right at the 4-year-old’s height.

And a few branches are a bit overloaded.

022But every ornament has a memory behind it…

026…even the “unbreakable” plastic balls.

I like my plastic, imperfect tree.  It’s just right for my family.

Here’s to an imperfect, but just right holiday!

Merry Christmas!

I’ll see you all in about a week. Smile

Linking up with Throwback Thursday Blog-Style.

  1. Your tree looks almost exactly like ours. Memories beat PInterest every day!

  2. I love it! And I agree. My tree looks just like that. :-) I love the G.K. Chesterton ornament by the way.

  3. Gorgeous! I can't believe how OLD all the kids are getting. Time goes so fast!

  4. I love your tree. A long time ago, before husband and kids, I thought the perfect tree was one that had matching ornaments etc. Now I think the perfect tree is one decorated with ornaments full of love and memories! Merry Christmas, Susan!
