…and not at all the stuff that great Pins are made of.
Yes, that’s G.K. Chesterton weighing down a branch.
And yes, there’s are fanged creatures next to the smiling plush critters.
One side is extra fancy, right at the 4-year-old’s height.
And a few branches are a bit overloaded.
But every ornament has a memory behind it…
…even the “unbreakable” plastic balls.
I like my plastic, imperfect tree. It’s just right for my family.
Here’s to an imperfect, but just right holiday!
Merry Christmas!
I’ll see you all in about a week.
Linking up with Throwback Thursday Blog-Style.
Your tree looks almost exactly like ours. Memories beat PInterest every day!
ReplyDeleteI love it! And I agree. My tree looks just like that. :-) I love the G.K. Chesterton ornament by the way.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I can't believe how OLD all the kids are getting. Time goes so fast!
ReplyDeleteI love your tree. A long time ago, before husband and kids, I thought the perfect tree was one that had matching ornaments etc. Now I think the perfect tree is one decorated with ornaments full of love and memories! Merry Christmas, Susan!
