Friday Freebies: Khan Academy

If you haven’t checked out Khan Academy yet, check it out now!  You will find hundreds (ok, thousands!) of free teaching lectures in math, science,  and even art history (just found out about the art from Debra), plus interactive math practice.  I keep forgetting about Khan, but it may be just the ticket for getting David up to speed in his math skills.  I do feel a teensy bit overwhelmed by it…there’s just so much there, but thankfully I stumbled across their Common Core Map, an organized list of the math skills available on Khan’s site for K-12.  Perfect!

The really neat thing is that if you have an ipod or an ipad, you can take Khan Academy with you by downloading the free app.

  1. Thanks for the tip on downloading ipad app for Khan Academy. We're planning on doing a little traveling so this will come in very handy!!!
