Shh…Santa Might Hear!

What a clever idea, perfect for the digital age.  The folks at iCaughtSanta have made it possible for anyone with a digital camera to snap a shot of the Man in the Red Suit himself in their own home…and it doesn’t require staying up all night Christmas Eve, donning a costume, hiring an actor,  or even fancy editing software (or technical know-how).

In just a few minutes I was able to upload a pic of our Christmas tree, select from 20 different Santa poses, size him just right and adjust the brightness of his red suit to fit the lighting in the photo.  Don’t you think the kids will be surprised?

Hmm, I dunno, perhaps picture proof positive of the season’s favorite myth is going a bit far in our house…but it’s a fun idea to play around with.

I thought about planting Santa on the roof, pointing up,  and adding a quote in my own photo editor, “Come back Rudolph!”  My kids would LOVE that.

The set-up at iCaughtSanta is super easy to use (go try it) and I received my hi-res photo instantly for download (you can also download it in smaller sizes).  You can print your photo yourself or have it done locally.

Price:  $9.99 for one photo (get a bundle with 4 different photos for $10 more) Right now, you can create your very own personal Santa capture and get 50% off your entire order with this code:  :SANTA50

Disclosure:  I received my ICaughtSanta photos for free to facilitate my blog post.  I’ve also been entered into a drawing.
