Get the Year to Sparkle Planner!

Friday, June 10, 2011

What do you do on a 95 degree day?

Throw a party, of course!

And 6 homeschooling mamas + plus over 20 kiddos is quite a party for one house, lol.

We have Expo and their new washable dry-erase markers to thank for giving us an excuse to get together for a House Party.

The great thing about sharing these with homeschoolers? No need to extol their virtues, we’ve all wished at some point that dry-erase markers were washable.

If you have any little ones who like to draw all over themselves and anything they can get their hands, try these new markers! They are the first washable markers I’ve ever used that actually wash off of skin! Really!

I love that regular washable markers will wash out of clothes, but when you’re trying to get the kiddos to church and realize the baby has given herself some “tattoos,” it’s not a happy thing, so the fact that these dry-erase markers actually wash off of skin (I tested them!) is a BIG selling point for me.

I haven’t verified that they wash out of clothes, yet, but so far, so good. They wash off of chalkboards and painted walls.Winking smile

The Expo Washable Dry-Erase Markers have the same low-odor and smooth writing power as regular Expo Dry-Erase Markers. The colors tend toward the fluorescent (especially the yellow). I wish they would do them in darker colors for higher contrast. I wonder if they would work on black dry-erase boards? Hmm…

Disclosure: I received free Expo Washable Dry-Erase Markers, Expo Learning Boards, and Expo erasers, courtesy of Expo and House Party, to share with party participants. I received no monetary compensation. The opinions expressed here are my own.
