Kidcraft Book Sling from CSN Stores, a review

Remember this?

030

A full-sized bookcase in the room solved most of the problem, but somebody wasn’t happy.

I think if I was only 3-feet tall and couldn’t read, I wouldn’t be happy either.  Winking smile

Makes it a little hard to pick out the books you want to look at.

We’ve tried bins before.  But bins get dumped in my house.

And then scrambling boys in socks slip on the dumped books and going flying across the room…

CSN Stores had the perfect solution.

Kidcraft Pastel Sling Shelf

It’s the perfect height for Emma.  She can pick a book by the picture on the front.  And put it back herself!

It’s light-weight and easy to move (this is a plus and a minus, as Em can move it herself).

But we’ve had it for a few weeks now, and she hasn’t tried to climb it, yeah!

It was super easy to assemble.  Took me about 20 minutes with no help.  The end pieces are laminate and predrilled.  The canvas pockets hang from painted heavy-duty dowel rods.

The only thing I would change:  I would add a clear vinyl pocket to the front for little board books that otherwise get lost in the deep pockets.  If I’ve ever got some free time on my hands, I might take it apart and add one myself.  Or not.

The  most important thing is:  the books are off the floor…and the radiators…for the most part, anyway.  And that makes me smile.

Thank you, CSN Stores and Kidcraft for making me smile. Open-mouthed smile

Looking for something for your home?  CSN Stores has a huge selection of everything from lighting fixtures to kitchen gadgets, to even book shelves…and they ship super quick!  I had this Kidcraft Sling Shelf within a week of placing my order.

Disclosure:  I received this product free from CSN Stores for review purposes.  I received no other compensation.  The views stated in this post are my own.

  2. Love those and want one too! My little ones have two crates of board books. The crates unfortuanately get dumped regularly AND then used to climb on all sorts of things. Sigh....
