- Develop a closer relationship with God.
- Cherish my husband, my children and loved ones and put aside the daily stuff that tends to come between us.
- Put together family albums with all those pictures that are stored in boxes and on our computer. I think I'll start with our wedding pictures...it'll be 12 years in a few weeks. Sharing our memories with our children gives them an important connection to the past.
- Take better care of myself physically, emotionally and spiritually.
- Post here about my progress.

9.27.2021: Google very recently changed drive links for security reasons, so you may find that when you click on a link for one of my printables that you need to submit a share request. PLEASE only submit one share request per item! These have to be manually confirmed and I will get to them when I get to them. I promise you that sending me 12 requests in rapid succession will not make that happen faster, lol! I do not sit on my computer waiting around to send people instant shares of freebies. Thank you so much for your patience as I try to sort out this latest Google mess.

Got Resolution?
It may be a bit cliche to make resolutions for the New Year, but there's value to be gained by taking a close look at your life and making some decisions about what you can improve...and having the resolution to carry through with those decisions. My list is short...these are things I am going to do, not simply try to do:

Great resolutions! I look forward to reading about your progress through the coming year!

I like your goals--and that you "will" do them, not just try! I need to work on my photos, too-one of those things I keep putting off!
ReplyDeleteIt's far to easy for me to just say "I tried" and then give up:-)
ReplyDeleteThis way I stay honest.
I agree with the other ladies who commented. Your resolutions are some really good ones! I didn't publicly post my resolutions (perhaps I should as extra motivation!), but I did make a few in my mind. One is that I AM going to make it top priority to read my Bible and pray every single day no matter how busy my life gets!! I am very consistent about doing Bible reading and prayer time with the kids each morning before we start school, but I haven't been very consistent about doing my own personal Bible study and prayer time. I am doing Mrs. White's Bible study right now, so that has helped so much. When that is over in a couple of months, though, I plan to keep up the new routine and to be very consistent about it. Also, I am going to try to be sure I have the house somewhat straightened up and dinner ready when my hubby gets home from work each evening. He never complains when the house is a mess or dinner isn't ready, but I'm sure it must bother him. I want to honor him by trying to do a better job in those areas. Oh yes, I too have tons of pictures in boxes and stored on my computer. It's not "top" priority right now, but I really do need to get to work on those as well. I love scrapbooking, so maybe if I can just get myself to print them out, I can enjoy scrapbooking them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I enjoyed your resolutions post!! You have motivated me. :)
